Another great classic of Portuguese ceramics. This ceramic swallow's nest is traditionally placed on the wall with its incorporated fasteners and brings happiness to the whole family. Its design is characteristic of the so-called Caldas da Rainha ceramics, whose most famous author is Bordallo Pinheiro.

This piece has an exceptional quality and great care in its finishes. The reliefs and details are precise, the surface is perfect and very bright, the colors are brilliant.

This piece comes from a small workshop located between Caldas da Rainha and Obidos in the central-western part of Portugal, in the province of Estremadura. Its design is characteristic of the so-called Caldas da Rainha ceramics, whose most famous author is Bordallo Pinheiro.

The moulds used there have been handed down from generation to generation and the owner of the workshop today uses his grandfather's moulds. All parts are made entirely by hand.

Nd d hirondelle

Bonjour Je vous felicite pour votre travail Mais j ai mis 4 etoiles Car le nid et les oisillons sont pas trop realistes Mais j adors quand meme Car je suis passionné par les hirondelles Merci a vs Je pense que je commanderais le nid pour ma tatan de coeur qui a 88 ans Et toute sa vie les hirondelles ont partagés sa vie dans les terres Du matin au soir elles etaient toujoirs présentent Un beau metier que vs faites J espere payé a sa juste valeur
