Ceramic swallow in an original matt black presentation, made in the tradition of Caldas da Rainha and its illustrious inventor: Bordallo Pinheiro.
This swallow is available in several colours and sizes. It has a hole in the belly so that it can be fixed to the wall or placed flat on a piece of furniture.

The swallow (Andorinha) is today an icon of national folklore and an object present in all Portuguese homes. It is used both outside on a façade and inside on a wall. This swallow comes from a small workshop located between Caldas da Rainha and Obidos in the Central West of Portugal, in the province of Estremadura. The moulds used there have been handed down from generation to generation and the owner of the workshop now uses his grandfather's moulds. All the pieces are made entirely by hand.
