Beautiful large sized pendant (6cm) entirely made in 925 Sterling silver representing a Heart of Viana (Coração de Viana) in filigree.
This pendant is a handmade piece from the Portuguese workshop Alma & Coração. It can be mounted on a 45cm or 70cm silver chain.

The Heart of Viana has its origin in antiquity. It represented life, solidarity, fraternity, and love. Later on, it appeared in Portugal as an object of devotion as the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The Portuguese wore it on their breasts as a sacred symbol. Today, it is gaining increasing modernity even in the streets of Beverly Hills around the neck of celebrities.
