This small jug is part of the pieces traditionally made by Sezinando Fernandes Ramalho, one of the last 5 potters to use the ancestral technique of making black pottery in Bisalhães, a technique registered as a UNESCO World Intangible Heritage Site.
- Typically Portuguese, this small jug remains functional and can be used to serve olive oil or wine but it is also a very original decorative object.
- The manufacturing process gives this piece a high resistance and allows it to be used in an oven or placed in the freezer.
- More than an object, this small pot is a part of the Portuguese heritage, now considered as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
