This magnificent green salad bowl in the shape of a cabbage (Couve in Portuguese), of imposing dimensions, benefits from a very beautiful glossy finish which gives it a great presence and a modern and trendy note.

This beautiful piece is characteristic of the "Caldas da Rainha ceramics" whose most famous author is Bordallo Pinheiro.

It comes from a small traditional ceramics workshop located in the centre-west of Portugal. The moulds used there have been handed down from generation to generation and the owner of the workshop now uses his grandfather's moulds. All the pieces are made entirely by hand and are of the highest quality, with great care taken in their finishing.
